You know. You never know what will happen in your life. Back in 2015 when NWN was almost dead, and I was looking for other things. My wife suggested that I write a book. I told her everyone is working on their book. They never get finished with it. So, she made a bet with me. I accepted.

The result was my first novel. A fan fiction novel based in the forgotten realms. I posted it for download on my site: www.harvestmoonconsortium. In November of 2017.

I figured I would get maybe 500 views and about ½ of them downloads but that was ok. I just wanted to write a good novel just to prove I could do it.

That novel was Children of Hell: Desperation. I guess it turned out to be a good novel because today the views flipped to 100,000 and beyond.

I’m an old gunsmith not a professional novelist and to have a book that may have been downloaded this many times….. Well not sure what to say but thank you for everyone that downloaded and hopefully enjoyed it. I am deeply honored to be able to share a vision that people enjoy.

I will keep writing stories on my site for those that wish to enjoy. There are also some other authors that have put their stamp on my site. The nice thing about writing is its not a competition. It’s a shared experience for those of us that write.

Children of Hell II can also be downloaded on the site. I’m still working on the last book in between other projects. I’ll eventually finish that one too. Thanks once again to all who have read and enjoyed my works.
