For weeks the clergy all along Anchorome have been suffering dreams. Strange dreams of the beginning of time. When the Gods were alone and no mortal had been born as of yet. Finally Kelvenore got envolved and gathered some of the priesthood to seek out adventurers.

Aril, Darias, and Justan were in the farmlands. They were enjoying a peaceful eve when it all started. The adventure that would change all of Toril. As they sat enjoying the evening 4 individuals walked up to the camp.

The God himself Kelvenor along with the high priesetesses of Sune, Lathander and Yollanda all came into camp.

Kelemvor Lyonsbane spoke first. He asked if they felt the distubance in the nature of the world. of all the adventurers only Aril could feel it. It seems that only those with divine insiration could feel the shift.

The priestesses and priests then spoke of their dreams. Dreams from a time that was older than the very gods that created Toril. The Priest of Yondalla spoke of the birth of the many gods the begging of creation.

The priestess of lathander spoke of her dreams of a world apart known as a prison of freedom.

glory Known the priestess of Sune spoke of a child suffereing that all the Heavens and hells search for to the north.

They told the group that all priest and priestesses of every faith in fearun feel this shift. They told them that evil gathers to the north to find and subdue this thing to their cause. This alien prescence was like a child in need of sucure afraid and alone and everyone seeks it.

Justan didnt know if he could make such an adventure. To seek the answers where not even the gods can answer. The clerics each in turn blessed him to help him survive among the elite of Anachrome.

The group left the adventurers and dispersed. The adventurers went to seek out Cyrics temple for answers, and to try to stop evil in its tracks.

The group boarded the ship to cleaverness and set sail.

As they docked in cleaveness they saw a battle going on Celestrial avengers and planetars were in combat with fiends and slaads. all seemed to be fighting eachother with no regard for the mortals around them.

The group joined the frey and helped the celestrals kill the Demons and slaads then continued on their quest. Along the way they happened upon Randyl. They spoke together and convinced Randyl to join their cause.

They all headed out to Cyrics.

At the Temple the Shades that guard the fortress called Corrigons and an army of bugbear archers to their cause.It was an epic battle the first of many the strange days of this adventure. eventually the group defeated cyrics shades and walked into the temple.

When they went in there was no one around the main hall. They kept quiet and started to hear shouts and talk coming from another room. Then magic hit the air there seemed to be a battle in a room close by. They had trouble with the door but opened it. cyrics followers moved in Darias with his axe and randyl with his magic defeated them hastily. They moved to the library to find Devon the high cleric of cyric in a battle with Zachon of Shar. There was utter chaos in the room as the two sects battled. The group joined the frey. Weakened by the previous battle both sects fell to the adventurers. Devon and Zacham both perished. The few followers of cyric and Shar that remained alive fled into the night.

The group looked around. The library was littered in papers and books so old they looked about to disolve into dust at the slightest touch.

They found the book that the two priest were fighting about. They handed it to Randyl to see if he could make sense of it. Randyl could only partially understand the book. What he did figure out was that it was a book of mathmatical formulas made by an elder god called Merion.

He did see that it looked like formulas for creating living objects that can control the fabric of the multiuniverse and even teleportation.

Darias stared at him agape for a moment, while Randyl said a more powerful wizard might understand it more fully. He also mentioned that in the wrong hands this book would be dangerous stuff. Aril aghast said it would be dangerous stuff in anyones hands if Alister had gotten his hands on it

Randyl shuttered at the very thought.

They decided to take the book to the Wizard at Oghmas temple to more fully understand what the book spoke about.

They journeyed back to the boat helping more celestrials defeating Demons devils and slaads. finally boarding amid the great battle and sailing to Lapis. At the docks they saw the war had spread to the very streets of the docs. A Balor attacked them while they disembarked. Randyls magic quickly annialated it. They made their way to the halls of knowledge and to Phineas Whoppee.

Randyl handed the book to Phineas and said this was some pretty scarey stuff. Phineas opened it and started reading. He then closed and and told them to come with him. He took them to the High priest. The high priest vastiando took the book and spoke to Phineas softly. Phineas left the group and went downstairs.

Darias looked at the book and asked the priest what about the book? Vastiando said the wizard didnt fully understand the book. Randyl seemed disappointed. Aril protested but the Heavens and Hells fight right outside the door!? Darias mentioned they found it in cyrics temple.

The priest patient as ever told them he would have to commune with Oghma directly for this to be understood. The priest went into a trance then faded in and out of reality each time he seemed different once he faded in and looked like a crystal of ice another as stone and another time on fire. At last he seemed to return for good in a normal way and spoke with them.

Vastiando Millin Told them that Oghma has knowledge of this but until recently it was unknown event to him. Only a few gods knew of this history.

he told them when the multi-universe was created all the gods warred until a being that inhabited the vast prime known here as Merion gathered them under his power and created the first world. Thus they created a single world and all the races. from there the gods spread out and created more within the vast central darkness called the prime that mirrored the orignal world. This god has come to fearun and has made a child. The forces of good and evil war over this child and are looking for the location to control it

Randyl rolled his eyes and said that evil needed to get a new hobby, while Darias mumbled that he knew they should have stayed there and finished the job.


Vastiando then told them that Only a mortal can embrace the child and lead it to its place

Aril asked where was its place? Vastiando replied that that knowledge was hidden from Oghmas eyes or he would not release that knowledge to his priest. He did tell the adventurers that the power lies to the north beyond the temple of cyric.

Vastiando also said the name of the child was Shimmer. He also warned the group that The heavens and hells will war over the power to control this child it is part of the essence of the multiuniverse itself. They asked of him if the child could be moved to be protected. Vastiando shook his head and told them he didnt beleive it could be moved.

The group pondered that a moment not understanding. they looked for a way to defend the child from all the outerplanes. The priest in his way tried to help them by insisting that from what oghma said it must be tied to the land with a mortal afterward it will be safe from all others. But if another got there first it could be warped by both good or evil for their purposes. Shimmer would take on the characteristics of the one that bonded it to this place on Toril.

Darias asked him but how does the bond work... does it kill the mortal? rip soul from body and put you in the ground? or are we just... connected to the child from then on?

The priest only shoke his head and said he didnt know.

Aril finally spoke softly She said that Toril is sick and I will do what I can. they nodded and the group left back to the trackless north and its winter without end.

Justan decided he had had enough and begged his leave of the others. They parted ways. Justan went home battered and bruised but knowing he had given everything he had in helping the group. No honor was denied the brave soul for keeping up with some of the most notable adventurers of the land.

Without Justan the group embarked passage again to cleaverness.

Coming off the boat they started to make their way back to cyrics when an Ultroloth stopped them. The creature of Hades sneared at them. and spoke.

GO BACK MORTALS THE CHILD IS OURS

Randyl laughed at it
Aril said to kiss her behind
The ulthroloth pleaded with them there was no need for violence. He promised them rewards from hades, vast treasures and power. They spit at him and the fight was on. The Ultroloth was no match and went down quickly.

They next met a bronze dragon. he asked them to stop for all the forces of good. He said to stop their mission that there was a new portal to the planes and the forces of good were looking for it in the north. Aril told him that they were looking for a child of balance. Randyl said for the forces of good. They bickered awhile anoying the dragon. The dragon belched silenceing them for a moment and told them a high priestess was on her way to atune herself to the portal once they find it. they argued with the dragon a bit then the dragon got upset and told them that if they disturb the portal they would have the wrath of the good dragons upon their heads. He left in a huff flying away after Darias threatened the beast.

Randyl was a little shocked. Darias just sighed and Aril didnt know what to say.

The group entered the ice tunnels. and found an army of shadows they fought their way through only to find more parel. A shard was in the tunnels and gave them a last warning before she attacked the group. The group now fighting both celestrials, fiends and slaads for way to the child was starting to weary. Randyl and aril were getting hurt more often. Darias axe started getting heavy.

As they rounded the corner to get out of the ice tunnels it came for them. One of the most dread creatures of the outer planes a Black slaad. They fought long and hard Randyl went down from various cuts and bruises then Aril only Darias stood and finally managed to sent the creature back to its plane.

Out of the caves they faced a Gold dragon that fought them the group made short work of him thanks to arils spells. then They caught the attentions of something truely powerful. Venca God of hidden knowledge. He stopped them in their tracks but did not harm them. He spoke to them.

He told them that what they were about to do would change the face of Toril forever.

They looked at him suspisiously. each had reservations about the floating lich before them.

Venca then asked them if they are sure their choice is right.

The party accused him of wanting the child for himself. Venca dismissed the idea saying he cared not for the forces that fight among the planes over this but that this was his territory for the hidden knowledge of what the adventurers were about to learn. He told them to make their choices wisely and then he vanished in a mist.

The group then headed for the frost giant castle looking for the child along the way

The group found nothing along the way so stormed the castle of the Frost giants. They fought their way in with several giants asking them to stop what they were doing. Finally a sorcerer got them to stop long enough to speak with them.

It asked them what they were doing here? They told the Giant that they were looking for a child, and said it may look like a portal. The giant said they had no child save their own and knew of no portal. The giant was obviously being honest with them by how upset it was. That confuse the party and they confered thinking that they may have gotten turned the wrong direction. They then told the sorcerer that they would leave and asked if it had the power to teleport them. The sorcerer said on the condition that they would never return. The group agreed reluctantly and were ported to west cleaverness. where they once again started their journey

Heading twoard the icy tundra the group was again assailed by frostgiants, and Slaad, dragons and abishai, all sorts of outsiders.

they made their way through the frozen forest and inadvertantly disturbed a Demilich. In that battle they almost all died but by spell and might they made it threw.

At last they came upon a shimmer orb that seemed to be fulled by a makeshift mythallar. They examined it and wondered at it and then Aril touched the mythallar. All fell unconscience and their beings were transported to the spectral realm were they met Vecna again.

Vecna told them the secret story of Merion the god. how he was the one to give mortals the power to touch the planes and that his children were conduits of this power.He said that the three of them must choose one to merge with the child and choose at least one champion to fend off the creatures of the planes.

Aril was chosen to merge while randyl and Darias defended her body and the shimmer.

Aril disappeared into the planes. feelings guiding her way to choose the right path. She became not one but two people merging she felt the feelings of two places and sought out where the other tread. She went first to the realm of the dead. cold and lonly yet the other her walked on hot sand. She moved through the planes to hell and found it different still with boiling water and grass. then on to the third plane of olympus where a vast desert dwelt there she saw a temple and ran twoard it.

meanwhile Darias and Randyl took on all comers from electo-dragons to the Slaad nobility, from Demons unseen until this time on toril to astreal devas. Darias almost died several times Randyl was quickly running out of spells and drew his weapon to fight.

Aril entered the temple and found a young girl. The girl screamed mother and ran to her. They hugged and everything changed. A vast knowledge of the universe from its birth hits aril like a sledge hammer she looses her conscienceness then regains it. She sees the beginning of the planes and is forced to understand all the mathmatical formulas that created it. She blends with shimmer and sinks into an unpentrable darkness like a black hole. Her mind nearly shatters from the knowledge but holds together through the barest of threads. then she is alone but not alone one with reality altogether then back again into a conscience reality. She can now think herself to when and where through the mirest thought she has become a true planeswalker.

She returns to the party finding Darias and Randyl fighting an elector dragon. After the electo-dragon was defeated they all slumpped down. Randyl wished that the bards were there to join them. Darias mention that there were no bards and that no one would know of this. from a distance Venca smiled (if you could call the skinnest jaw a smile and wrote of the group and its achievement)
