That one was too easy, Val’jss thought as he smiled to himself. Val’jss was getting good at striking the spine with a paralyzing blow. He took a piece of torn heraldry from his pouch and closed it within the hand of the dead dwarf giving it the appearance of a final death grip against the fallen’s slayer.
Val’jss had carefully chosen this location just outside the goblin caves knowing well that a dwarven patrol would soon find their fallen comrade and, provided they were not morons, set in motion a conflict between the dwarves and the neutral force in the region beyond their mountain range.
My employer will be most pleased. Val’jss mused as he slipped silently into the shadows eager to see how this domino will fall.
