Gaelaer Beathin

Gaelaer grew up in the Grey Forest along the northen edge of the Sea of Fallen Stars in one of the elven forest cities with her mother. Her half-elven father is an accomplished bard and visited at irregular intervals, as much an indulgent uncle as father in some ways. Consquently her ways and manners are elven rather then human.
One scheduled visit, her father didn't arrive. After waiting a few weeks, Gaelaer set out toward the city of Lyrabear. Her father met her along the road. They made camp for the evening and while her father was explaining the cause for his delay, a magical vortex openned up and started drawing her father into it. Gaelaer grabbed her father's arm to try to pull him out, but only suceeded in getting drawn in herself.
When she arrived at the other end of the vortex in Seirra Na, her father was nowhere in sight.
